    Welcome to the Southeastern Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management

    What is the SOUTHEASTERN KENTUCKY SOCIETY FOR HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT?

    The Southeastern Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management (SEK-SHRM) is honored to be affiliated with Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). This chapter was chartered in December 2003 as a means for Human Resource professionals and those interested in the Human Resource profession in southeastern Kentucky, specifically the London/Corbin/Somerset/Monticello areas, to network.

    Chapter members are encouraged to join SHRM; however, national membership is not a pre-requisite to belong to SEK-SHRM.

    What is the SOCIETY FOR HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT?

    The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is the world's largest association devoted to human resource management. Representing more than 180,000 individual members, the Society's mission is to serve the needs of HR professionals by providing the most essential and comprehensive resources available. As an influential voice, the Society's mission is also to advance the human resource profession to ensure that HR is recognized as an essential partner in developing and executing organizational strategy. Founded in 1948, SHRM currently has more than 550 affiliated chapters within the United States and members in more than 100 countries.

     

    How to become a member:

    Downlaod the SEK-SHRM Application and email a completed copy to Heather.Hill@Pulaskilibrary.com to be submitted to the Board of Directors for approval.

    The cost to join this group is a yearly fee of $20.00. There is no charge for National SHRM Memebers.
